The Rio Arriba County comprehensive plan economic development component will identify activities and projects the county can undertake in the future to help energize economic well-being by creating well-paying jobs for low-income citizens. The VISTA Member will conduct research needed to inform economic planning decisions; carry out community outreach activities to engage low-income resident participation in the County’s economic development planning processes and activities; and identify, document, and begin to implement one or more high-impact economic development project(s).
