  • Colleges, universities, community colleges, and other places for adult education and workforce training

  • Their job boards and/or emailing Career offices/career counselors Emailing professors in departments that relate to field VISTA position fits within

  • Emailing student organizations

  • Volunteer groups and networks

  • Local newspapers

  • Idealist job board

  • Volunteermatch.com

  • Your current volunteer pool

  • Through your social media channels and/or regular newsletters

  • Community bulletins

  • Your local one stop employment center

  • Your network of nonprofits

  • Forging connections with your local rotary club, Lions Club, or other civic-minded, social organizations in your area.

  • Churches/church bulletin boards

  • Neighborhood associations
